UMECIT Participates in the Environmental Management Forum-Workshop 2024-2029 for the Development of Panama
On June 5, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, David Campus, participated in the Forum-Workshop "Environmental Management (2024-2029) for the Development of Panama."
This activity, organized by the Council of Rectors of Panama and in collaboration with the RUPADES NETWORK, integrated the Neocyberhumanist model of the UMECIT, linking teaching, research and extension.
The Extension Research Coordination and the Academic Coordination of UMECIT involved first-year students of the degrees in Preschool and Medical Records and Health Statistics, under the direction of professors Cynthia Yelin González González and Lisbeth del Cid.
During the event, workshops were held at work tables that addressed topics such as comprehensive waste management, climate change, water resources and sustainable tourism, among others.
