UMECIT obtains the Kalos Virtual Iberoamerica Seal in the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences

The Ibero-American Network for the Accreditation of the Quality of Higher Education (RIACES) and the OEI awarded UMECIT's Doctorate in Education Sciences program the Kalos Virtual Ibero-America seal.

This achievement recognizes the dedicated and committed work in an academic program that demands high scientific productivity and high quality standards.

The evaluation process by international peers demonstrated academic and research excellence, identifying strengths and opportunities for growth in the training of researchers and academics in the educational field, not only in Panama, but throughout the region, capable of contributing to the transformation of society from an ethical, humanistic and technological perspective.

The scientific production that emerges from the research carried out in the program meets the highest standards of rigor and social relevance. From Panama, the United States, Colombia, Ecuador and Puerto Rico, our graduates and students, through their doctoral research, are providing concrete solutions to educational problems, leaving a positive mark through their connection with the environment.

The Science and Technology Unit (UCYT), attached to the Research and Innovation Centre, has played a fundamental role in the results achieved, providing support to researchers through methodological advice that guarantees that doctoral research meets the quality and rigour required at this level of training, specifically in the processes of construction and validation of instruments, as well as in the analysis of data carried out through technological platforms available at our university.

With this recognition, we renew our institutional commitment to train highly qualified professionals, contributing to academic development and the future of education.
