UMECIT delivers the third report of the Adjusted Institutional Improvement Plan (PMIA)
The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- held the official delivery of the third report of the Adjusted Institutional Improvement Plan (PMIA), a document prepared based on the development and monitoring of the projects institutional, in compliance with the commitment made during the process of institutional reaccreditation in 2022 before the National Council for Evaluation and University Accreditation of Panama (CONEAUPA). The event was attended by representatives of CONEAUPA, including Dr. María del Carmen Terrientes de Benavides. Representing UMECIT were Dr. José Alberto Nieto Rojas, Rector, Dr. Rosa Idali Castañeda, Legal Advisor, as well as representatives of the Accreditation Directorate, Dr. Gressy Zúñiga and Ms. Alanis Tamayo. With the delivery of this report, UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to improvement continuous institutional transparency and the strengthening of academic quality, guaranteeing an excellent education for its students and contributing to development of the country's higher education system.
