UMECIT Chitré strengthens social work skills with specialized training

On September 6th, the Social Work Professionals Day, recognizing the role of these agents of change in promoting well-being and quality of life. These professionals support vulnerable individuals, families, and communities in overcoming their challenges, and to this end, permanent update It becomes an indispensable resource. Continuing education allows for a more scientific approach and the possibility of connecting people with resources and services from a human rights perspective.

In this context, from UMECIT Chitré Two important training sessions will be held for students and professionals in the social field:

  • 📅 September 24 | Panama and sustainable development: recent dynamics and perspectives, in charge of Master Alexis Rodríguez Mojica.

  • 📅 September 25th | Prevention and Participation: Tools for social change with a focus on migration integration, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration – UN, taught by the Master Dadmara Maria.

With these actions, UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive training of future social workers, strengthening their skills and promoting their contribution to building a more just and inclusive society.
