UMECIT Celebrates its 20th Anniversary throughout the country with sweets and joy

UMECIT is celebrating, celebrating its twentieth anniversary of founding. Throughout these two decades, our House of Studies has been a pillar in higher education in Panama, and this year it could not go unnoticed. To commemorate this special occasion, celebrations were held at all the University's headquarters, located in Panama, La Chorrera, Chitré, David and Santiago.

The festivities in Panama took place in different buildings such as Megamall, Masters, Véneto and the International Bilingual Institute – IBI_ where students, teachers and administrative staff gathered to share a sweet and remember the most significant moments of the institution. In an atmosphere full of joy and camaraderie, the growth and achievements achieved by UMECIT since its founding were highlighted.

In La Chorrera, the celebration was marked by the active participation of the entire university community. Students and teachers shared stories and experiences while enjoying the delicious desserts prepared for the occasion. The festive atmosphere reflected the spirit of unity and commitment that characterizes this venue.

Chitré was not far behind, with a celebration that brought together all the members of the headquarters to share a sweet and express their pride in being part of the UMECIT family. The occasion was conducive to recognizing the effort and dedication of those who have contributed to the development of the university in this region.

At David, the university community also joined the party with enthusiasm. The campus was filled with laughter and good wishes as commemorative sweets were distributed. The students took the opportunity to thank their teachers and classmates for their support and collaboration over the years.

Finally, at the Santiago headquarters, the celebration took place with equal enthusiasm. The participation of students, teachers and administrators was massive, and everyone enjoyed the sweets while sharing anecdotes and memories of their time at UMECIT.

At all campuses, the celebration of UMECIT's 20th anniversary was not only an occasion to enjoy a sweet treat, but also to reflect on the positive impact that the university has had on the lives of thousands of students.
