The past November 8th, UMECIT commemorated the World Radiology Day, highlighting the 129 years since the discovery of X-rays. As part of the celebration, an enriching «Conference to commemorate Radiology Day», where students of the program enjoyed presentations given by recognized specialists in the area.
The event concluded with a toast and cake, promoting a sense of belonging and appreciation of the history and impact of this discovery in the medical field.
As part of the activities, on Saturday November 16th, UMECIT participated in the football tournament organized by the National Association of Radiology, held in Amador. This exciting sporting event brought together students and professionals from the area, creating a space for interaction and learning in an atmosphere of camaraderie.
