Entrepreneurship Workshop: Bridges to the Future

Inspiring young people to transform their ideas into purposeful actions was the objective of the “Entrepreneurship Workshop: Bridges to the Future,” a training day that brought together scouts from the Clan Fénix (@clanfenix.g15) of the Scout Group 15 Juan Demóstenes Arosemena and graduates of the UMECIT University.

During the event, three entrepreneurial graduates shared their experiences and lessons learned, demonstrating that knowledge, when combined with passion and social commitment, becomes a true engine of change:

  • Mr. Raúl Morcillo, a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis on Exports of Goods and Services, presented his project Café Cano, highlighting the value of Panamanian products and the pride of doing business locally.

  • Mr. Hector Ibargüen, Bachelor of Law and Political Science and founder of PAIPA, inspired young people with his natural sunflower seed water initiative, highlighting the importance of innovation, sustainability, and business formalization.

  • Lic. Nicole Duque, a graduate in Banking and Finance and a student of Law and Political Science, offered the workshop “Learning to manage your finances”, aimed at strengthening financial education and responsible decision-making.

The meeting took place within the framework of the project “Bridges to the Future”, promoting values of leadership, civic education, and social entrepreneurship among young people.

This significant event was organized by the UMECIT Graduate and Entrepreneurship Coordination, reaffirming the institutional commitment to initiatives that promote personal, professional and community development.
