UMECIT, from its Neo-Cyberhumanist Curricular Educational Model, articulates the three substantive areas (Teaching, Research and Extension) through academic strengthening activities and interdisciplinary exchange.

Last Tuesday, May 17, the Seminar "Creation of Virtual Pedagogical Objects through Audio Production" was held under an agreement with the Santo Tomas University - Bucaramanga Sectional - Colombia (virtual campus); with students and teachers of the Master's programs of the Faculty of Humanities (Didactics of ICTs, Educational Administration and Planning, Educational Sciences, Management of Social Welfare Projects, Higher Education, Psychopedagogy with emphasis on Neuropsychology, of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-.

In this space it was shared how users and technological tools are developed and integrated in the teaching-learning process in the virtual modality of all the virtual programs offered by Santo Tomas University and in the creation of classrooms, which, from the Virtual Campus, strengthen textual, graphic, audiovisual, sound and multimedia production, among others.

Among the topics addressed by the Pedagogical Advisors of the Virtual Campus, Diana Sofia Nino Rodriguez and Jessica Paola Garcia Paez, is the accompaniment in the materials and inputs required by the teacher designers of each classroom and the different learning environments that can be used to improve the academic and evaluative processes of the students. Likewise, some examples of software, licenses and contents were projected, within the learning resources that are free, affordable, innovative, adaptable, inclusive and easy to use in classroom activities. 

Some examples of audio creation and editing tools are online applications, such as Online MP3 Cutter, which allows you to cut recordings from your computer, adjust the volume and sounds. As for free software, Audacity, allows you to edit and record multitrack audio, perform graphical interface, simple and complete. To improve the quality of audio, Adobe Podcast, improves the quality of audio, with professional results and in a very simple way.

To complement this academic dialogue and as an experience of creating and accompanying teachers in the creation of virtual classrooms, some tools were shown for the Creation of Interactive Educational Resources in multiple formats, for the development of presentations and interactive primers, E-books and Podcast, which can be organized and designed from Genially, Canva, Fliphtml5 and Soundcloud.
