This event brought together students, teachers and researchers in a space for learning and reflection, where crucial topics for the practice of law and forensic sciences were addressed. The research groups were the protagonists, presenting advances in areas such as forensic entomology, ballistics, planimetry and accidentology, demonstrating the commitment and academic quality of our future professionals.
Internationalisation was another pillar of this seminar, with the participation of prominent international speakers who enriched the academic debate and strengthened our global ties, as a result of the agreements that our university maintains. In addition, our research professors offered high-level presentations, highlighting the importance of research and its application in the legal field.
The event also featured the participation of prominent speakers and guests, including members of the Judiciary and the National Police of Panama. Their presentations enriched the seminar by addressing critical issues in the legal and forensic field, providing valuable and practical perspectives that complemented the academic and investigative focus of the event. The collaboration with these institutions underscores the importance of a continuous dialogue between academia and authorities to strengthen the practice of law in our country.
The event ended with an emotional recognition of Professor Oriel De Frías, a leader in the Faculty of Law and Forensic Sciences, whose career and dedication have left an indelible mark on generations of students. Thank you all for being part of this success!
