Magisterial meeting with the University of Panama to follow up on the agreement

Initiating the concretion of joint activities within the framework of the inter-institutional agreement signed between our House of Studies and the University of Panama, this afternoon a awareness meeting to raise issues of priority interest from the area of research and graduate. 

The agenda of the meeting focused on the analysis of the possibility of carrying out joint investigations that contribute to the country's research priorities, from various areas of knowledge, within the framework of the strategic objectives established in the PENCYT. 

Additionally, joining efforts to strengthen scientific journals, aware of the importance of dissemination and dissemination of knowledge that is generated from research, as well as possibilities for inter-institutional academic exchange.

This meeting marks the beginning of important actions, led by the rectors of both houses of study, which will make it possible to achieve important inter-institutional objectives, which will result in benefit of university educational quality and research in Panama. On behalf of the University of Panama, Dr. Francisco Farnum, Head of the Office of Scientific Publications and Dr. Jazel Villalas, Director of Research.
