Cooperation meeting between Andrés Bello University and UMECIT

Andrés Bello University, in partnership with the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT), held a meeting at the UMECIT Master's headquarters to strengthen and expand their strategic alliance.

The Chilean delegation included Dr. Manuel Eduardo Vicuña Urqueta, Director of Merchant Marine Engineering at the Andrés Bello University; Mr. Carlos Rivas Campos, Commercial Attaché at the Chilean Embassy; and Captain Cristian Mitrovich Carmona, Defense, Military, Naval and Air Attaché of Chile. UMECIT was represented by Master Yelitza González, Director of Outreach, and Master Andrea Pinzón, Coordinator of Agreements and Internationalization.

During the meeting, various projects and activities to be developed within the framework of the cooperation agreement were discussed, with the aim of strengthening academic and professional relations between both institutions. The proposed initiatives include exchange programs, training, development of joint projects and outreach activities that will benefit the academic and professional community in the maritime and commercial fields.

This alliance reaffirms the commitment of Andrés Bello University and UMECIT to promote internationalization and cooperation between both nations, fostering professional development and the exchange of knowledge.
