Joint research projects with the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences

Within the framework of the inter-institutional agreement signed between UMECIT and the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, the first round table for planning joint research projects was held.

During the meeting, authorities and representatives of both institutions defined the operational route for the identification of priority themes in the forensic field, as well as the assignment of responsibilities in a plan of action. This collaborative effort seeks to generate analysis and proposals based on scientific studies that contribute to informed decision-making.

In this workspace, key aspects such as the Institutional lines of research, organizational needs, incentives and strategies to ensure the impact of the studies.

This strategic alliance will strengthen research at UMECIT, promoting the generation of scientific products with a high value for the academic and scientific community, both nationally and internationally.
