Last Monday, September 2, the Santiago Branch had the honor of participating in the commemoration of Criminalistics Day at the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (IMELCF), Veraguas Agency. This invitation was extended by Lic. Tahis Díaz, Coordinator of the agency in the province.
The activity was attended by administrators, students and teachers of the Criminology program, who had the opportunity to interact with members of the institute at various stands that presented the different departments and areas that make up the IMELCF. This experience not only allowed participants to delve deeper into the practical aspects of the criminology profession, but also facilitated the strengthening of ties between the Institute and the University.
The event was highlighted as a crucial space to highlight the importance of Criminology in society and to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Likewise, the commitment of both institutions to work together to contribute to the development of the region and to the academic and professional growth of students was reaffirmed.
