The link between academia and extension: strengthening learning through academic mobility

At the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, we firmly believe in the importance of the link between academia and extension as a means for our students to reinforce their learning from multiple approaches, integrating multiculturalism and academic training.
In this context, we are pleased to announce the arrival of Juan Camilo Pérez Garavito,
Sixth semester student of Physical Culture, Sports and Recreation at the Universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia. Juan Camilo joins us for his internship from August 15 to November 11, 2024.

This academic mobility is carried out under the current cooperation agreement between the Universidad Santo Tomás de Colombia and UMECIT, strengthening ties that allow mutual enrichment through the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

At UMECIT, we are committed to the comprehensive training of our students and we are excited to be part of this crucial stage in Juan Camilo's professional development. We wish him the greatest success in this valuable training experience.
