Young researchers from UMECIT stand out at the 4th International Congress of Research and Innovation Seedbeds

For the third consecutive year, our young researchers represented the Metropolitan University of Education, Science, and Technology (UMECIT) with excellence on international stages. This time, they participated in the 4th International Congress of Research and Innovation Seedbeds, organized virtually by Antenor Orrego University of Peru.

Students from the research centers at all our campuses, from the undergraduate programs in Criminalistics and Forensic Science, Law and Political Science, General Psychology, Environmental Management Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, and Early Childhood Education, shared 14 scientific studies developed with their mentors.

The papers addressed issues of great social and scientific relevance, such as occupational health and safety, the work environment in construction, gender-based violence, livestock theft, environmental crimes, dual pathology, ADHD in children, neuroplasticity, and forensic testing, among others.

These spaces for international scientific dissemination strengthen our students' research skills, enhance their professional profiles, and consolidate UMECIT as a university committed to training researchers capable of transforming their environment through knowledge.
