Start of the Training Program and Project “The Entrepreneurial Spirit” of UMECIT
Today we mark the beginning of our training program and the "Entrepreneurial Spirit" project from our headquarters in Chorrera. On this occasion, we have partnered with strategic allies such as BANESCO, in collaboration with the University of Panama in La Chorrera, adding more than 100 people in this activity.
During the event, we highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship as an integral part of our mission and vision. We seek to provide the knowledge, skills and tools necessary for individuals to start and manage their own businesses.
Entrepreneurship plays a fundamental role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by fostering innovation, creating jobs and promoting sustainable economic development. We contribute directly to the following SDGs:
