Last Friday, June 28, 2024, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) began the inspection visits for the accreditation of the Bachelor's degrees in Law and Political Science and Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences. These visits are carried out by the Technical Commission for Academic Development (CTDA) to evaluate compliance with the required academic standards.
On behalf of the CTDA, we were accompanied by Dr. Nilsa Morales, Director of Inspection, and Mgtr. Vielka de Cisneros. The commission in charge of the Bachelor's Degree in Law and Political Science was made up of Mgtr. Elizabeth Andrades and Mgtr. Elías Muñoz Field. For the Bachelor's Degree in Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences, the members of the commission were Mgtr. Aida Jurado and Mgtr. Aida Selles.

The inspection was carried out in an environment of harmony, complying with all the necessary requirements for filling out forms and presenting pertinent information. The CTDA, in compliance with its functions established in Resolution No.723-AL of March 21, 2022, "which approves the Single Text of Executive Decree 539 of August 30, 2018", carried out this visit as part of the accreditation formalized by UMECIT.
The University successfully presented the development of its academic management, meeting the requirements required to continue with the accreditation process of the courses of the Faculty of Law and Forensic Sciences.
The next inspection visit is scheduled to take place at the headquarters of David, La Chorrera, Chitré and Santiago.
