Promoting research training for sustainable development in Los Zambranos

Training on data collection tools for the Institutional Research Project: "Socio-environmental Diagnosis for Sustainable Development in the Community of Los Zambranos, Bijagual District, David District" was successfully conducted.

The activity, held on Thursday, March 13, at the David campus, was led by the principal investigator, Professor Giselle Gómez, along with co-investigators Ricardo Navas, Widad González, and Hermes De Gracia.

During the session, the importance of informed consent, the proper use of data collection instruments, and their correct application in the field were emphasized. These elements are essential to ensuring the quality and validity of the data obtained in research.

The auxiliary team was comprised of students from the Occupational Health and Safety and Forensics programs, who actively participated in the training, strengthening their skills in applied research.

This project represents a valuable contribution to understanding the community's socio-environmental reality and seeks to generate proposals that promote the sustainable development of Los Zambranos.
