UMEcista graduate participates in Symposium on Addictions and Psychopathology in Adolescence
On September 17, Licda. Karen Valoy, graduated from the degree of Social Work at UMECIT, participated in the Symposium on "Addictions and Psychopathology in Adolescence: Challenges and Strategies for a Developing Generation", organized by the University of Panama.
During her speech, Lic. Valoy addressed the following topic: “Family and Community as Pillars in the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions”, highlighting the importance of strengthening family and community environments as a strategy to promote the comprehensive development of adolescents and prevent risky behaviors.
