Umecit – University in Panama

Graduation from the Seminar on Leadership through Transformation Roundtables

With an emotional ceremony, UMECIT celebrated the graduation of Leadership Seminar through Transformation Roundtables, a 10-week training program that strengthened the soft skills of first-year Psychology students in 2025, as well as 12 administrative staff, including academic coordinators and the Psychology Office Coordinator.

This initiative aligns with the institutional commitment to developing professionals with integrity and conscious leaders, promoting transformational leadership at all levels of the Umecista community.

The seminar was made possible thanks to the alliance with the Panama Leads Foundation, represented at the event by its president William Olivares, the table manager Nelly Coleman and the director of operations Jairo Murillo.

During the event, the active participation of the Psychology seedbeds, led by student Jessica Landero, as well as the articulation between the Academic, Research and Extension Directorates, under the leadership of Academic Vice-Rectory, demonstrating once again the value of collaborative work in the educational transformation promoted by UMECIT.
