UMECIT Megamall students visit the Nestlé Distribution Center on an academic tour of logistics and transportation.
Last Saturday, April 12, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and UMECIT Multimodal Transport, Megamall Building headquarters, carried out a enriching academic tour to the Nestlé Distribution Center (CEDI), located in Parque Sur, under the management of Professor Karen Peralta. The main objective of this activity was to offer students a practical and detailed overview of logistics operations at a leading global market company. During During the tour, participants were able to observe firsthand the processes and technologies implemented for the efficient management of storage, distribution and transport of Nestlé products. The tour provided a valuable learning opportunity, allowing us to strengthen our theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom through direct observation of practices modern logistics in action. In addition, Nestlé's commitment to the development of new generations was highlighted. through its “Youth Initiative” program, which highlights the importance of talent young for business growth and innovation.
