As part of the commemoration of the International Day of Safety and Health at Work (April 28), students from the fourth and seventh semesters of the Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, in a semi-presential modality, carried out a day of technical intervention at the Veneto B headquarters.
The activity focused on providing specialized training on emergency protocols and the strategic signage of evacuation routes, with the aim of fostering a culture of prevention and immediate response to anthropogenic or natural risks, linking theoretical knowledge with the operational needs of the institutional infrastructure.
During this academic session, 400 morning students received detailed instruction on safety measures and the proper evacuation procedures for the building. This initiative not only facilitated the transfer of essential knowledge but also served as a simulation exercise and validation of emergency plans.
Furthermore, the activity contributed to strengthening the graduate profile of the participating students, by developing skills in leadership, risk management and technical communication in real-world scenarios.
Under the coordination of Professor Ricaurte Bethancourt, this event reaffirms the institutional commitment to academic excellence and comprehensive training, demonstrating the students' ability to design and implement security plans that protect the university community.
