Physical Education students do academic practice in Pilates training

The past June 14, the students of the twelfth quarter of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Personal Training participated in an enriching academic practice as part of the subject Pilates and Toning Training Direction, under the guidance of the teacher Sharissa Sánchez.

This activity had the objective of strengthen theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their professional training, providing students with key methodological tools for teaching and conducting the discipline of Pilates.

During the day, essential aspects were addressed such as: Identification of training methods, principles and components, as well as the execution of modules and teaching strategies typical of this bodily practice.

In addition, the experience allowed future professionals explore different applicable methodologies both to educational contexts and to high-performance sports training, promoting a Comprehensive, contextualized training aligned with the demands of the professional field.

With these types of activities, UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to quality teaching that links theory with practical application.
