As part of the celebration of the 20 years of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, the Santiago Campus carried out a moving delivery of baskets in the maternity ward of the Luis Chicho Fábregas Hospital.
Thanks to the generous support and collaboration of the students and teachers of the Santiago Campus, it was possible to collect and prepare baskets with essential items for mothers and their newborns. This significant donation symbolizes UMECIT's commitment to the community, and reflects the dedication of our students and teachers towards social well-being and supporting those who need it most.
On behalf of the University, we express our deepest gratitude to all those who participated and contributed to this noble cause. This act reinforces UMECIT's mission to promote values of solidarity, commitment and social responsibility, aligning with our principles of comprehensive and community education.
UMECIT will continue to carry out activities that benefit the community and promote social and human development, reaffirming our commitment to positively contribute to the well-being of our society.
We thank everyone involved and reiterate our commitment to continue promoting social and human development through our actions and values.
