Discussion: Let's connect education and employment

With the aim of promoting dialogue and the exchange of ideas between key players in the education and employment sectors, UMECIT is organizing the discussion “Let’s Connect Education and Employment.” This event seeks to identify the necessary public policies and analyze the different approaches of the Ministry of Labor, the National Council of Private Enterprise, university graduates and companies that contribute to the development of the country.

This academic space is designed to provide tools and support to our graduates, helping them to successfully project themselves in their professional life and strengthen the connection between higher education and the labor market.

Special Guest:
Dr. Miguel Antonio Bernal Villalaz, professor, lawyer, writer, radio commentator and presidential advisor, will be our special guest for this important discussion.

  • Mr. Bryan Townshend, Economist at the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP)
  • Consultant René Quevedo, Specialist in Employment Promotion
  • Dr. Mauricio Sierra, Academic Vice-Rector of UMECIT
  • Magister Yelitza González, Director of Extension of UMECIT, as moderator

In addition, we will have the participation of invited companies, graduates, teaching staff and administrative staff from our university.

The event will culminate with technical discussion panels that will address the ideas raised by our distinguished guests.
