Within the framework of the twentieth anniversary of the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, the Academic Vice-Rector's Office will hold the keynote conference titled "The Academic Facilitator of the New Era (Active Methodologies)."
This conference aims to provide essential knowledge about the profile and skills necessary for teaching in the current context, marked by technological advancement and the digitalization of educational processes. In a world where technology plays a crucial role in education, it is essential that academic facilitators develop skills and strategies that allow them to adapt and excel in this dynamic environment.
Active methodologies are pedagogical approaches that place the student at the center of the learning process, promoting active participation, critical thinking and problem solving. These methodologies include techniques such as project-based learning, cooperative learning, gamification, and the use of interactive technologies, among others. The adoption of these methodologies seeks to foster deeper and more meaningful learning, preparing students to face the challenges of the 21st century.
This conference will take place on Friday, July 19, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in virtual mode, through the Zoom platform, and will be led by the outstanding Dr. Maura Pereira.
