Celebration of Criminalistics Day at the Santiago Headquarters

In recent days, the Santiago Headquarters of UMECIT was the scene of the Celebration of Criminalistics Day, an event that brought together professionals and students of the career for a valuable exchange of experiences and knowledge. The event, which took place virtually and in person, included the participation of Professor Lizbeth Gonzales and the teacher Alejo Prado, who highlighted the relevance of criminology in today's society, inspiring future professionals to continue their training with dedication.

A highlight was the intervention of Lic. Migdonio Munoz, a graduate of the program and researcher at the Santiago Campus, who presented his research entitled «Impact of Environmental Education on the Los Valles de Cañazas Forest Area in Entomology», highlighting the importance of environmental education for the preservation of ecosystems.

Likewise, the efforts of the students who make up the Forensic Research Seedbed, who have demonstrated their commitment to research and their contribution to the problems of the forensic field.

This event allowed for an enriching interaction between students and experts, reinforcing the importance of the role of criminologists in various areas of society.
