Dancing for Culture: in celebration of International Dance Day
The University Welfare Department from its program of artistic cultural expression promotes innovative initiatives that fit the diversity of its student population, therefore held on April 28, 2023 the event "Dancing for Culture "on the occasion of International Dance Day, encouraging spaces for students to demonstrate their talent and skills in dance.
In addition, these types of activities are beneficial for students as they allow them to develop personal and social skills such as creativity, coordination, teamwork and communication.
It is also a fun and exciting way to stay physically active and healthy. Overall, promoting cultural and artistic activities together helps to enrich the educational values of the University and foster an environment of inclusion and diversity. We hope that these types of events will continue to be offered in the future to continue fostering students' personal and cultural development.
We would like to thank the Juan Demóstenes Arosemena Bilingual Educational Center and the students of the Vice Rectory of Student Affairs of the University of Panama for their participation, who were directed by Professor Luis Bórquez.
Thanks to their enthusiasm and talent in dance, the event was a success and achieved its goal of promoting and enriching us through artistic expressions. We hope to continue counting on your collaboration in future cultural and artistic activities.
