Physical activity in nature

On August 10, the course “Physical Activity in Nature” was closed. This theoretical-practical course gives students the opportunity to learn about and practice physical and sports activities in natural environments. This course highlights the importance of carrying out these activities with respect for ecosystems, following a sustainable concept and ensuring compliance with all the safety regulations necessary for their safe practice.

During the course, students reinforced their knowledge in key areas such as hiking and its relationship with nature, planned hiking, trekking, physical and mental requirements, appropriate clothing and equipment, preparation and planning of activities, atmospheric conditions, and orientation in natural environments.

This academic experience not only allowed students to apply the concepts learned in a real environment, but also prepared them to integrate sustainability and safety into the practice of physical activities in nature, training professionals who are aware of the impact of their actions on the environment and trained to lead responsibly in their future roles.
