2nd Webinar Organization and Sports Legislation

To encourage learning situations in the participants, about the evolution of the different norms and laws that have been promulgated throughout history for the improvement and development of the institutional structure of sport and its adaptation to contemporary society, UMECIT will lead out this 2nd. Webinar.

The sports organization and legislation have evolved the different rules and laws for the improvement and development of the institutional structure of sport.

Knowing the sports legislation helps to comply with the laws and regulations established by the competent authorities, whether national or international, this is crucial to guarantee that sports activities are carried out in a safe, fair and ethical manner, it also highlights the protection of human rights for athletes, coaches, referees and other participants in the sports world. 

This includes issues such as harassment, discrimination and the protection of minors, they also focus on the prevention of injuries and accidents. Knowing these rules can help minimize risks and increase the safety of athletes and spectators, promote sport with values and respect, thus guaranteeing a fair and equitable sports environment that encourages participation and the development of sport in general. 

The students of the Master's Degree in Sports Training for High Competition, study within the curriculum, the subject Sports Organization and Legislation, whose purpose is that the student obtains the basic knowledge and tools on the organization of the different existing sports institutions, taking into account both its territorial scope (international, national, provincial, district and local) and its legal nature (public and private) are taken into account. 

Likewise, they will know the general laws on sports in the country and the particular laws referring to different types of sports.
