XXIII Student Research Conference of the C-2025 period, at UMECIT Chitré Campus

In recent days, the UMECIT Chitré Campus carried out the XXIII Student Conference of Research from the C-2025 period, an academic space dedicated to the exhibition and reflection on projects developed by our students within the framework of the research-based educational model.

The activity included the participation of Mgter. Olga Nelly Tapia, a renowned jurist from the Azuero region, who shared a motivational message aimed at students and research teachers, reaffirming the relevance of research as an essential instrument for the advancement of science and the development of our communities.

During the day, several articles were presented from two academic programs:

Winning article

After the jury's evaluation, the winning article was:
“Analysis of Water Quality in Deep Wells Used for Human Consumption in the District of Chitré”, from the student María Elena Arrocha Gutiérrez, under the guidance of the teacher Massiel Vergara.

This session was held in a hybridwhich allowed for the broad participation of students, teachers and the academic community of the Chitré Campus.

We congratulate all participants and encourage them to continue strengthening investigative thinking, the ability to inquire, and the construction of new knowledge as an essential part of research-based learning and understanding reality.
