Twenty-Third Student Research Conference at David Campus

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT-, through its David Campus, successfully carried out the Twenty-Third Student Research Conference On Saturday, November 22nd, an academic space focused on strengthening the research culture, critical thinking, and creativity of students.

In this edition, the following were presented 17 research projects developed by undergraduate students in Medical Records and Health Statistics, Occupational Health and Safety, Criminalistics and Forensic Science, Preschool Education, Social Work and Human Development, Accounting, and Banking and Financedemonstrating the academic diversity of the venue and the participants' commitment to scientific development.

The projects addressed topics related to healthcare, social sciences, and the business environment, reflecting the relevance and applicability of research in diverse professional contexts. The event benefited from the valuable participation of faculty advisors, who acted as evaluators and mentors throughout the process, guiding students in the application of scientific methodologies and the structuring of robust and relevant proposals.

During the event, students shared the progress and results of their research, practicing key skills such as critical analysis, argumentation, oral communication, and finding solutions to real-world problems in their field of study. This experience is a fundamental pillar of UMECIT's educational model, which promotes practice-based learning and the development of research skills from the earliest stages of professional training.

Among the outstanding projects, those belonging to the career of Medical Records and Health Statistics They obtained the highest scores, consolidating the academic excellence of this program in research matters.
