UMECIT and SERTV join forces in a new chapter of cooperation and training.

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- signed a Framework Agreement for Cooperation with the State Radio and Television System (SERTV), strengthening its commitment to professional training, social development, and educational innovation.

This agreement establishes the basis for technical and academic collaboration in various areas such as:

🔹 Refresher and training programs
🔹 Applied research and educational communication

During the event, the Dr. Jose Alberto Nieto Rojas, Rector of UMECIT, expressed his enthusiasm by stating:

This partnership with SERTV not only opens doors for internships and projects, it is also a platform for our students to create, innovate, and communicate their ideas with impact. The Rector was accompanied by the Dr. Rosa Castañeda, legal and academic advisor, and the Master Andrea Pinzón Castañeda, Coordinator of Agreements and Internationalization, who highlighted the strategic value of the agreement for the development of professional skills in real-life audiovisual communication and production environments.

With this agreement, UMECIT reaffirms its commitment to quality higher education, connected to the media, technology, and opportunities of the 21st century.
