Umecit – University in Panama

UMECIT and RADIMAGEN sign an agreement to strengthen practical training in the health field.

The Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) and RADIMAGEN have signed a collaboration agreement that will open up new opportunities for students to develop their internships in real-world settings, thus strengthening their professional training and their commitment to patient well-being.

During the signing ceremony, David Román, President and Legal Representative of RADIMAGEN, expressed his satisfaction with this partnership:

“I am grateful to the entire UMECIT staff, students, and family who have made me feel part of it. Radiimagen is a humane company, close to its employees and students. The actions I see at UMECIT are actions of love for the profession, for the students, and for the patients. Each of these initiatives directly benefits those receiving care, as they will be treated by better-trained professionals.”

The common denominator between both institutions is our values, and that's what unites us. More than a commercial agreement, this agreement is a driving force and a commitment to the future of our organizations. Each team installed has been conceived as a project built with love for patients. You can always count on us to bring well-being."

For his part, the Rector of UMECIT, Dr. José Alberto Nieto Rojas, highlighted the relevance and nobility of the project:

"God bless this agreement, which was designed to provide our students with the best education. We sought to join forces with a specialized organization that promotes research and innovation, to train the best professionals and offer quality education in Panama."

This agreement will allow our students to receive training in real-life settings, where they can experience firsthand the importance of the care and attention each patient requires. The users win, the community wins, and we all win. RADIMAGEN's scientific and innovative strength gives us complete confidence that we are training responsibly."

With this alliance, UMECIT and RADIMAGEN reinforce their commitment to quality education, innovation in professional practice, and ethical and humane service to society.
