UMECIT and MINSA hold training sessions on drugs, tobacco, and alcohol.

As part of the training actions of the alliance between the Ministry of Health (MINSA) and the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT), within the framework of the project “Health Promoting University”, an important Training Day will be held entitled: “Drugs, tobacco, and alcohol: realities that transform lives”.

👩‍⚕️ Facilitator: Lic. Keira Afú, mental health nurse and coordinator of the Addiction Clinic at Cecilio A. Castillero Hospital.

The objective of this day is raise awareness throughout the educational community on the impact of psychoactive substance use on physical and mental health, as well as strengthen prevention capacity against this problem that affects young people and adults in different contexts.
