The Municipal Government of Chitré, in coordination with the Directorate of Territorial Development of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), carried out the Workshop for the formulation of the District Strategic Plan 2025-2029, a space in which researchers from UMECIT Chitré Headquarters participated, through its Research Coordination.
The call to UMECIT demonstrates the relevance and recognition of its research work, the result of a trajectory focused on the analysis of real problems and the generation of knowledge with concrete utility for specific sectors of the territory.
Once again, UMECIT Chitré Campus reaffirms its commitment to local development, contributing significant input derived from previous research. This input aims to ensure the relevance and applicability of proposals to address urgent needs in areas such as the environment, health, education, and public administration. These contributions help shape institutional agendas that focus efforts on issues of public interest with high transformative potential.
The contributions made in the working groups will strengthen the comprehensive diagnosis of the district and will serve as a basis for the formulation of projects aimed at boosting local economic development, in conjunction with key stakeholders in the territory, positively impacting the quality of life of the population.
