UMECIT participated in the VIII Latin American Congress on Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety in Colombia.

UMECIT's participation in the 8th Latin American Congress on Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety fully meets the substantive functions of the Faculty of Health Sciences, essential academic pillars for fulfilling our institutional mission and promoting professional development in health.

Strengthening Clinical Education of the Future

From September 3 to 6, 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences strategically participated in this important congress held in Bogotá, reaffirming our commitment to academic excellence and the ongoing development of our training programs.

Interdisciplinary delegation

Under the strategic vision of the Rector's Office, General Vice-Rector's Office, and Vice-Rector's Office for Projects, our representation consisted of:

  • Lourdes Iribarren, Coordinator of the Faculty of Health Sciences

  • Zuleika De León, Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Radiology and Medical Imaging

  • Alicia González, Coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
