UMECIT's participation in the 8th Latin American Congress on Clinical Simulation and Patient Safety fully meets the substantive functions of the Faculty of Health Sciences, essential academic pillars for fulfilling our institutional mission and promoting professional development in health.
From September 3 to 6, 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences strategically participated in this important congress held in Bogotá, reaffirming our commitment to academic excellence and the ongoing development of our training programs.
Under the strategic vision of the Rector's Office, General Vice-Rector's Office, and Vice-Rector's Office for Projects, our representation consisted of:

✅ Establishment of regional strategic alliances
✅ Update on international clinical simulation standards
✅ Key inputs to strengthen our institutional Clinical Simulation Center
