UMECIT promotes job placement with the 2025 Job Fair

Panama City, July 2025 – As part of its commitment to the professional development of its students and graduates, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) launched the UMECIT 2025 Job Fair, an initiative managed by the Graduate Coordination of the Directorate of Outreach and Social Engagement, which seeks to generate real employment opportunities through strategic alliances with nationally recognized companies.

The fair started last Tuesday, July 21 with an in-person event that brought together graduates from various undergraduate programs, who had the opportunity to present their resumes, interact directly with recruiters, and learn about available job openings firsthand.

This space was key to promoting employability, professional development, and direct exchange between academia and the productive sector, thus reaffirming UMECIT's commitment to comprehensive training relevant to today's labor market.

In partnership with Konzert, one of the most important employment platforms in the region, UMECIT has extended this fair to a virtual format, available from the Wednesday, July 22 to Saturday, July 26, facilitating participation from anywhere in the country.
