Within the framework of the World Autism Awareness Day, the UMECIT University organized an enriching forum entitled “Diagnosis of People with Autism and the Implications for Family Members”The event, held in the university's conference hall, brought together experts, students, and professionals with the aim of promoting understanding, awareness, and inclusion of people with autism.
The forum had the outstanding participation of Master Rogervan Rubattino, who addressed advances in early identification and the impact of diagnosis on the lives of people with autism and their families. In addition, Master Sergio Cortés and the Professor Kennedy Pérez They offered valuable insights into the importance of comprehensive support and the most effective intervention strategies to improve the quality of life of people with autism and their loved ones.
This academic meeting represented a unique opportunity to strengthen UMECIT's commitment to inclusive education and autism awareness. We thank the speakers, the students of the General Psychology and Nursing degree, and all the participants who made this learning and growth experience possible.
