Mixology workshop strengthens the practical training of bilingual tourism students

The Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Tourism developed the Mixology Workshop: Cocktail Preparation, Tastings, Presentation and Customer Service, providing students with a practical and comprehensive experience in the field of professional bartending.

The workshop aimed to teach participants basic mixology techniques, identify alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and reinforce proper customer service in tourism and gastronomic settings.

During the day, students put the knowledge they had acquired in class into practice, strengthening their skills in preparing, presenting, and serving drinks, as well as fostering creativity in cocktail making and teamwork.

A highlight was the use of English in real-life service situations, an essential element for their performance in the tourism and hospitality industry. The activity demonstrated a high level of interest, commitment, and participation on the part of the students, consolidating the connection between theory and practice within their learning process.
