Solidarity and hope in the FANLYC Relay for Life

Once again, the David branch of UMECIT joined the Walk Relay for Life, in support of the children of the Friends of Children with Leukemia and Cancer Foundation (FANLYC). The activity took place on Sunday, August 31, at the International Flower and Coffee Fair in the district of Boquete.

Students, teachers, administrative staff, and graduates from various programs participated in this significant event, offering their support to their godson, Moisés Ábrego, a symbol of hope and courage for all children facing this disease.

With actions like this, UMECIT reaffirms its institutional commitment to university social responsibility, fosters solidarity, and contributes to the development of empathetic citizens committed to the well-being of their community.
