We are proud to share the outstanding participation of students and faculty from all UMECIT campuses in this important national research event, representing our institution with excellence.
The projects presented were the result of a rigorous internal selection process during our Student Research Conference and spanned multiple academic programs: Bachelor's degrees in Criminology, Bilingual Tourism, General Psychology, Physical Education, Radiology, Logistics and Multimodal Transportation, Banking and Finance, Medical Records and Health Statistics, Law and Political Science, Physical Therapy, and Electrical Engineering.
The topics covered demonstrate the diversity and depth of our students' research thinking: digital banking for older adults, cardiovascular disease prevention, forensic planimetry, agrotourism, environmental crimes, fingerprinting, photovoltaic energy, computer law, physical education in baseball, morbidity, entomology, artificial intelligence, pre-competitive anxiety, transformational leadership, attention and memory, biochemistry, and forensic medicine.
In addition, projects developed by research incubators were presented, highlighting early development in scientific skills. These projects reflect UMECIT's commitment to developing critical thinking from the earliest stages of the academic process.
We recognize with special admiration the effort and commitment of the students who traveled from various regions of the country, including hard-to-reach areas, demonstrating their firm commitment to professional and scientific growth.
During the event, our students met all the guidelines required by the organizing committee, presenting their research in the required formats: scientific posters, scientific articles, and academic interviews with national and international reviewers. Each presentation demonstrated solid methodological rigor, thanks to the close support of our faculty advisors, who were also present and offered support at this important event.
From UMECIT, we congratulate all the participants for this wonderful work, which demonstrates the research culture that is strengthened in our classrooms and transcends into national academic spaces.
Thank you for wearing the UMECIT colors with enthusiasm and commitment.
