Our University strengthens international cooperation ties within the framework of the environmental health campaign.
This Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology -UMECIT- held a key meeting with Mr. Nemesio Estribi, national consultant of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO), with the aim of explore collaborative work opportunities within the framework of the environmental health campaign.
During the meeting, proposals for the development of joint activities were discussed, and new opportunities for cooperation with both international organizations were identified, in line with the institutional commitment to promoting health, well-being, and sustainable development in our communities.
The meeting was attended by the Master Yelitza Gonzales Zamorano, UMECIT Outreach Director, and the Lic. Faray Mojica, Executive Assistant, who lead the Coordination of Liaison with the Environment.
This approach reaffirms UMECIT's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals and to building strategic alliances that drive positive transformations from academia.
