Integration and sports day at the University Football Quadrangular

Last Saturday, May 31, the facilities of the International Bilingual Institute (IBI) vibrated with the sporting and university spirit during the exciting College Football QuadrangularStarting at 8:00 a.m., four university teams—UMECIT, Universidad del Istmo, Universidad Santander, and the Colón Regional University Center—competed in a day filled with dedication, passion, and mutual respect.

This day was much more than a sporting event: it represented an opportunity to meet, integrate, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as a university community. Each team gave their all, not only on the field, but also in building an environment of healthy coexistence that inspires us to continue promoting spaces for comprehensive development.

We would like to especially thank each student who competed with dedication, the coaches who provided leadership, and the logistical, administrative, and academic support team who contributed their dedication before, during, and after the event. We also express our appreciation to the participating teams for their commitment and sportsmanship.

The activity had the valuable sponsorship of FritoLay, whose participation added flavor and energy to the day, strengthening the commitment to university sports. In addition, as a grand closing to the day, attendees enjoyed a special moment with the Giant screen broadcast of the UEFA Champions League grand final, sharing the excitement of the best European football in a university environment full of enthusiasm and good company.

We also thank the IBI staff for their warm welcome and the audience, whose presence and enthusiasm motivated each team to give their all.
