Continuing Education Seminar on Commercial Law (Contracts)

From the UMECIT, We proudly celebrate the development of a high-impact academic conference focused on commercial contracting. This event featured the active participation of more than 60 students of the Bachelor of Laws and Political Science, reaffirming our commitment to professional excellence.

High-Level Organization.

Research in Motion

We would like to highlight the participation of two students from the organizing group, who presented progress on their research as members of the Financial Law Research Group. They skillfully managed to link the contracts to financial activity, demonstrating that their appetite for research knows no bounds.

Luxury Presentations

We had masterful interventions that elevated the debate:

  • Prof. Eric Velasco: He masterfully addressed the Contracts of Adhesion, We break down its complexity using a solid legal framework, up-to-date doctrine, and relevant case law. We analyze how to protect contractual balance in an environment of pre-drafted clauses.
  • Jurist Dominique Gibson (ALCOGAL Firm): From his vast experience in Compliance, It gave us a modern perspective on contracts. We learned how due diligence and risk management are fundamental pillars in today's corporate contracting.

From the Classroom to the Community

This event is the perfect example of how the classroom becomes a knowledge management center. We not only disseminate our students' research advances, but we also achieve a effective link among colleagues and teachers, strengthening the academic fabric of our faculty.

Special recognition to the students who, from the subject of Commercial Law II, They took on the challenge of organizing this event under the guidance of Professor Ogami R. Rivera Cano, They demonstrated that student leadership is the engine of academic innovation.
