The Swimming Methodology course begins at UMECIT: comprehensive training for future professionals in Physical Education

With enthusiasm and commitment, the past April 26 the subject began Swimming Methodology, a key academic space in the training of students of Physical educationThis course combines theory and practice to strengthen skills in swimming teaching and training, from school settings to high-performance environments.

The course takes place in spaces established by agreement, which allow for the creation of ideal conditions for aquatic practice and methodological learning, promoting technical and pedagogical mastery in real environments.

During their development, students address Principles, methods and components of swimming training, learning to select and implement appropriate strategies for initial teaching and competitive preparation.

The content covered includes:

  • Water activities and their programs

  • Basic factors of learning

  • Introduction to basic swimming styles

  • Psychopedagogy applied to the aquatic environment

  • Training planning

  • General training theory

This specialized training seeks consolidate a competent, reflective and committed professional profile with the demands of the educational and sports fields. Students not only learn to teach swimming safely and effectively, but also prepare to take on leading roles as coaches and facilitators of sports performance, guided by a scientific and pedagogical approach.
