Academic Tour in the Metropolitan Natural Park: Integration of Environmental Education and Physical Activity
An academic tour in the Metropolitan Natural Park allowed for the integration of the subject's content. Environmental Education with the practices typical of Physical educationgenerating meaningful learning experiences in a natural environment. This activity fosters the relationship between theory and practice, reinforcing the understanding of ecosystems and the human role in their conservation.
During the day, participants explored diverse ecosystems within the park through guided walks, discussions about the importance of environmental stewardship, and outdoor physical activities. They also engaged in orienteering exercises, flora and fauna identification, and analyzed the effects of human intervention in natural areas, thus fostering a holistic, reflective education committed to sustainability.
