Strengthening communication skills in the subject of Public Speaking and Protocol in English

Students of the Bachelor's Degree in English participated in an academic activity developed as part of the closing of the subject Oratory and Protocol in English, with the objective of strengthening their integral training and the development of communicative skills.

During the training day, the students addressed the learning of basic rules of social behavior, body language techniques, public speaking norms and emotional control strategies, fundamental elements for adequate performance in academic and professional contexts.

This initiative is based on a pedagogical approach that integrates conceptual knowledge with reflection and practice, allowing participants to develop skills related to effective communication, leadership, and the appropriate handling of different social scenarios.

Furthermore, strengthening body language and social-emotional learning contributes to enhancing self-confidence, emotional self-regulation, and public speaking skills—essential competencies for academic and professional success. The activity was led by teacher Reinaldo Avecilla.
