We strengthen the culture of prevention with a first aid workshop for administrative staff

As part of the actions aimed at strengthening preparedness for emergency situations, UMECIT developed a First Aid Workshop aimed at administrative staff, in conjunction with the Meritorious Fire Department of the Republic of Panama, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between both institutions.

The day was conceived as a practical training space, focused on providing basic tools for the initial handling of incidents within the university environment, promoting a timely and conscious response to situations that may compromise the health and well-being of the community.

This initiative was carried out as part of the action plan of the institutional agreements of UMECIT, demonstrating an articulated management oriented towards the development of human talent and the strengthening of the culture of prevention.

Through these types of activities, UMECIT continues to promote the construction of safer and more prepared environments, where knowledge and response capacity become key elements for collective care and shared responsibility.
