“UMECIT in Motion: Entrepreneurship and Wellbeing” Fair”

On Saturday, March 14, the "UMECIT in Motion: Entrepreneurship and Wellbeing" fair was held with great success, a space that brought together the university community and various actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, highlighting the talent, creativity and effort of our entrepreneurs.

During the day, entrepreneurs from UMECIT offered a wide variety of products and services, including gastronomic proposals, desserts, fresh fruits, jewelry and other items, making the fair a dynamic and diverse experience for all attendees.

The event also featured the participation of key representatives and institutions that support economic development and entrepreneurship in the country. Among them was the Honorable Alternate Deputy Roberto Barsallo, alternate to the president of the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Deputies. Institutions such as the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Authority (AMPYME) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) also participated, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening entrepreneurship.

The event also featured the participation of designer and entrepreneur Jochebec Arjona, of Jochebecdesign, who shared her experience and inspiration with the attendees.

As part of its wellness activities, Smart Fit offered a lively Zumba session open to the public, promoting physical activity and community engagement. Emmi Panama also joined the event, lending its support to this initiative.

This fair highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit that characterizes the UMECIT community, demonstrating the talent, creativity, and innovation that exist within the university. It was a space for meeting, learning, and opportunities where students, entrepreneurs, and strategic partners shared experiences and strengthened the entrepreneurial culture within our university community.
